A few things you may be wondering.

Do I need an account or internet connection?

No account is required. Core stock management works offline. Online product lookup, Google services and Play Store updates can use the internet; offline use does not disable those services permanently.

Can I add homemade food?

Yes. Use manual entry to give a product its own name and record the date, quantity and storage location. A barcode is optional.

Will the scanner always recognise the date?

No. Lighting, printing and packaging affect recognition. Always review and confirm the result. Manual date entry remains available.

Why is a barcode not recognised?

The online product database does not contain every product. Details can be incomplete or unsuitable. You can enter the information yourself.

Does the app tell me whether food is safe?

No. It organises dates and stock. Safety depends on the product, storage, opening and preparation, among other factors. Follow the label and official food-safety guidance.
